Naomi Watts Manages House Filled with Boys
Written by Jess on January 28, 2010

Naomi Watts breaks away from sons Alexander, 2, and Samuel, 1, during the Sundance Film Festival premiere of her drama Mother and Child held this week in Park City, Utah.

Being the only woman in the house she shares with the boys and fiancé Liev Schreiber, 42, means Naomi has to look beyond her immediate family when it comes to girl talk and activities.

“Oh yeah, there’s a lot of testosterone,” the actress, 41, tells OK!. “And I’ve got two male dogs. I know — I’m desperate. In Australia, all my girlfriends, we come together and take up a lot of space.”

Still, Naomi’s greatest joy can be found when she has all her men around.

“Every day there’s one great surprise after another,” Naomi says. “Every day feels like an unforgettable one. I have to start writing it down. There have been many milestones.”

Somehow Naomi manages to balance it all.

“She’s incredible,” producer Lisa Falcone tells OK!. “She’s a super-nice person. She had her children on the set, and then she would stop filming to see her children. She’s a really great hands-on mom, as well as a great actress. Liev is amazing. They’re both hands-on parents. If she wasn’t an actress, you’d say, ‘Oh my gosh, she’s a wonderful mom.’”

Still, being around Naomi and her brood didn’t persuade co-star Kerry Washington to get started on a family of her own.

“Oh, that’s funny,” the actress, 32, says. “Maybe one day, but not yet. I mean, I’m a really good mom to my dogs.”

Mother and Child will be in theaters this spring.
