Naomi attends Astalift press conference in Cannes

Naomi attended a press conference for Astalift, the cosmetics brand she is the current face of, in Cannes on Friday, and closerMag.fr have posted an interview with her from it, as well as a photo. Naomi Watts : une actrice lumineuse. L’actrice est l’égérie de la nouvelle marque de cosmétiques confidentielle Astalift. Elle a profité de son passage à Cannes pour parler de ce partenariat et dévoiler quelques-uns de ses secrets de beauté.

13h, vendredi 18 mai sur l’une des terrasses du Martinez qui surplombe la Croisette. Dommage, le temps est gris, la température extérieure plus que frisquette. Des conditions qui n’empêcheront pas la jolie Naomi Watts d’arriver en robe très ajourée ! On frissonne pour elle. Le larsen du micro n’aura pas non plus raison de sa motivation à partager avec les quelques privilégiés ses secrets de beauté. On a pourtant très mal aux oreilles pour elle.

Resplendissante, souriante, Naomi Watts est l’image même de la star qui ne se prend pas la tête. Belle naturellement, chic sans artifice, elle subjugue vite l’assistance avec son sourire désarmant.

Son secret de beauté ? “Pour avoir une belle peau, la lumière est primordiale”. Et en matière de lumière, la marque Astalift que la star représente sait de quoi elle parle. Comment vous occupez-vous de votre beauté au quotidien ?
Je suis une maman de deux enfants et je voyage beaucoup. Je n’ai donc pas beaucoup de temps pour m’occuper de moi. Mes rituels sont donc très simples : boire beaucoup d’eau, faire du sport et heureusement j’aime ça, bien nettoyer ma peau tous les jours et utiliser de bons produits ! A mon âge, ma peau n’a plus cette lumière naturelle, ce côté “glowy”. Ces produits m’aident à récupérer ça.

Comment gérez-vous le fait de vieillir dans ce milieu où le physique est primordial ?
Comme tout le monde. Moi, je vois les avantages que m’apportent mon âge. Je suis plus sage, sereine. Je suis moins dans l’apparence. Je gère ça bien. Les rôles qu’on me propose sont plus complexes, plus intéressants. Je ne joue plus la petite-amie d’untel. On me confie des rôles de femmes accomplies, qui ont un vrai parcours, une vraie complexité. Je dois quand même avouer qu’il y a des jours et des jours sans devant mon miroir !

Vous avez été commencé tard au cinéma. Avez-vous été tenté d’essayer de rattraper le temps à l’écran ?
Quand David Lynch m’a découverte, je savais qui j’étais, quels étaient mes goûts. C’était une bonne chose de commencer tard. Aujourd’hui, je veux ralentir, mon fils va rentrer à l’école maternelle, je veux voyager moins. Tout le monde dit que pour les actrices, tout s’arrête à 40 ans. Heureusement, ce n’est pas vrai !
