Naomi appears in the January 23rd issue of Italian Vanity Fair, and I have found and added scans to our Gallery for you. I think the feature on her is part of their Oscar special, based on the little gold man seen at the start of the article. The quality is not very good, but it’s still a nice, rarely-seen photoshoot to see.
During her time at the Sundance Film Festival, Naomi popped by In Style’s Portrait Studio to say hi to them. She posed for portraits there, which will be seen in the upcoming April issue of their magazine. She was also snapped whilst visiting the studio, and those photos can now be seen in our Gallery. On her new film Two Mothers, she told In Style, “On the very first read, I knew I had to do it.”
The In Style website have also posted a few tidbits about Naomi from the festival, including info on where to get her shoes and how to get her lip colour – read them further down this post.
InStyle set up shop at the Grey Goose Blue Door Lounge on Main Street in Park City, Utah. Stars were treated to touch-ups before taking a seat in our pop-up studio, and then got a chance to peruse the new collection of outerwear and accessories by Coach, as well as the sturdy, comfy, and cute footwear by Sorel.

Woooowww, Naomi graces the cover of the new issue of Australian Vogue, and she and it look amazing! The video below is the behind the scenes footage of the shoot, and it looks gorgeous, so I can only imagine what the finished photos look like. A preview of the cover has been uploaded to the Gallery.
Be sure I will be adding scans from this as soon as is possible!
Naomi and Ewan McGregor are scheduled to appear on the Katie Couric Show this Friday – December 21st – and you can see a preview of the episode below. Check your local listings for times, US fans.
Olivia Newton-John is celebrating her 40th year in music with a bang! With over 100 million albums sold, four Grammy Awards, and an Emmy Award under her belt, now Olivia is reuniting with John Travolta for the first time in 30 years for a new Christmas album called “This Christmas.” And in the spirit of the holidays, Olivia and John are donating all the proceeds to charity. She’ll also talk about what she has planned for Christmas and share some of her favorite recipes from her new cookbook, “LivWise: Easy Recipes for A Healthy, Happy Life.” Then, the stars of The Impossible, Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor and the woman whose true account of what happened to her family in the tsunami eight years ago inspired this film.
Naomi graces the cover of the December issue of the Middle East edition of Good Housekeeping magazine. They used edited versions of Naomi’s photoshoot for More from last year, and reprinted the interview from Red magazine from earlier this year.
Check out the scans in our Gallery, and pick up a copy if you can.
Catch Naomi talking about The Impossible on Nightline tonight in the US! Here is the article accompanying her appearance:
Naomi Watts Took on ‘The Impossible’ Through Real Tsunami Victims’ Stories
Watch the full story on “Nightline” tonight at 11:35 p.m. ET.
It started out as an idyllic vacation for a mother, a father and their three young sons on the West coast of Thailand. But the winter holiday soon turned to a living hell — and an epic fight for survival — when the young family got caught up in the most devastating natural disaster in modern history.
It was Dec. 26, 2004, when a giant Indian Ocean tsunami swept across Southeast Asia, destroying entire villages and five-star resorts, and killing hundreds of thousands of people.
“The Impossible,” which will be in theaters nationwide on Dec. 21, tells the true story, in excruciating detail, of what happened to the Belons, a family who was caught up with millions of people in the disaster.
Naomi Watts plays the mother, Maria, alongside Ewan McGregor, who plays her husband, Henry.
“It just felt like it was rooted in real truth,” Watts said. “Every line of dialogue, every detail, everything just felt real, and I had to do it. I knew I wanted to do it from five pages in.”
Naomi has grabbed her first cover of 2013, and that is of Easy Living UK magazine! The lifestyle magazine features Ms Watts on their January 2013 issue, using pictures from her 2009 Spanish Vanity Fair photoshoot on the cover and in the spread inside. The interview inside is new, I think, and a nice read. It’s always a nice surprise to see Naomi’s face on the cover of a magazine in the store, right? So pick up a copy if you can!

Very excitingly, Naomi has been chosen as one of the several actresses in this years Hollywood Reporter Actress Roundtable! The magazine gets together chosen actresses involved in the years Oscar race, and talks to them about all things actress-y. This year they talk to Naomi, Anne Hathaway, Amy Adams, Marion Cotillard, Sally Field, Rachel Weisz and Helen Hunt.
The Hollywood Reporter’s Actress Roundtable was held October 22nd at Siren Studios in Hollywood.
The full roundtable discussion has been posted online for us to watch, which you can do below. Naomi sounds more English than ever! A text version is featured in the November 30th edition of the magazine with the actresses all looking beautiful on the cover in a new group photoshoot. That is posted below for you too. I’ve added the cover, photoshoot pictures, behind the scenes images and pictures from the discussion to our Gallery. Needless to say, I will be on the lookout for scans, and if you can help us out with this, please get in touch
This is a great honour for Naomi, and it’s fabulous to see her included in something like this!
