Naomi attended a couple of events last month, and I’ve finally been able to add photos from them. First up were the Tony Awards, where she was there to support Liev, and then later in the month the twosome went to the Annual Public Theatre Gala. Lots of photos are in the Gallery for you
And stay tuned for more updates, hopefully later today …

I have finally uploaded photos from Monday’s Salt premiere, and I think you’ll agree it is worth the wait – I have added 175 photos from the event, most of which are in gorgeous HQ! Naomi just looks so stunning and confident, and I love this look more and more with each picture I see from it! Definitely one of my favourite looks in a long time. And made even better by the photos with the glorious Angelina Jolie.
So enjoy the photos, and don’t hesitate to leave a comment here if you want to share your opinions on Naomi’s look/the update etc.
Stay tuned for more gallery updates here this weekend …
• Salt Los Angeles Premiere x175
Naomi Watts made a fashionable appearance at the star-studded Salt premiere last night with two gorgeous additions– partner Liev Schreiber, and a brand new hair cut! Naomi’s new stick-straight hair was draped over her collarbone and styled with long side-swept bangs. “It was quite a change for Naomi,” said her hairstylist, Robert Vetica, who created a look that referenced 60′s British pop and a soft, natural, Studio 54 vibe. The stylist cut off two inches but left Naomi’s locks longer in the front and higher in the back. “They were first cut long and blunt, then razored and texturized to about the bridge of the nose so they looked lighter around the face,” says Vetica, who achieved Naomi’s silky smooth finish with Argan oil-infused Moroccanoil Light. Although we often see the striking blonde star pushing a stroller through Soho in sneakers and a casual ponytail, the actress proved she certainly knows how to glam it up on the red carpet, pairing her new do with a metallic strapless Gucci mini dress and a black-and-white Neil Lane diamond cuff and ring.

As I had expected, Naomi accompanied Liev to the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie Salt last night! She looked stunning a gunmetal silver sequinned strapless Gucci cocktail dress, with Gucci shoes. We haven’t seen Naomi embrace this kind of look for a while, and I think she looks incredible! Naomi and Liev were also photographed on the red carpet with the star of the movie, the one and only Angelina Jolie, and I have to say I’m very excited to see two of my favourite actresses pictured together
Here are a few preview pictures for you, and I will add a full set of pics into the Gallery asap – just need to grab a good collection for you

The A-list actresses and the British fashion designer were reportedly planning to pop out for a quick bite to eat, but ended up indulging in a “boozy” three-hour dinner at pricey New York restaurant Quattro at the Trump Soho. The women, who are known to be close friends, couldn’t stop laughing throughout their meal and shocked onlookers with their bubbly conversations and obvious good moods.
“The ladies were having a blast and the booze was flowing,” an eyewitness told Life & Style magazine. “They were all drinking red and white wine.
“Kate was in an especially great mood. She was laughing and giggling throughout the entire dinner. But at one point she and Naomi slipped out to have a serious heart to heart on the stairs outside the restaurant.”
Gwyneth went home when the meal finished at midnight but Kate, Naomi and Stella continued their partying at the nearby Bowery Hotel. As the wee hours of the morning dragged on, conversation turned to Kate’s mother Goldie Hawn.
Naomi attended Stella McCartney’s Spring 2011 Presentation in New York City yesterday, alongside her good friend Kate Hudson. Naomi looked pretty and fresh-faced in a little white puffy dress. I’ve added the first batch of HQs to the Gallery for you.

Read on (click ‘(more…)’) for a video from ET from the event. Naomi told ET about her summer plans, saying “We were just lamenting the fact that I wasn’t going to be seeing Stella at the beach because I’ve got to go to work in Europe – which is not too bad,” which makes it sound as if she’ll be filming The Impossible!
Actress Naomi Watts and director Doug Liman talk about their latest espionage drama, ‘Fair Play,’ in Cannes. The film is based on the real life story of Valerie Plame, a CIA agent outed by government officials.
Watts returns to Cannes, where her star was born
The Associated Press – May 21st 2010
Naomi Watts had been on the verge of giving up on Hollywood before she came to the Cannes Film Festival nine years ago.
Her own horror franchise, a hit “King Kong” remake and one Academy Award nomination later, Watts returned as a Cannes superstar, lighting up the festival red carpet in two films, the Valerie Plame drama “Fair Game” and Woody Allen’s “You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger.”
Other than a quick stop to hand out an award at Cannes a few years ago, this was Watts’ first time back to the festival since it helped launch her career after years of toiling in obscure movies.
Her breakthrough came with a starring role in David Lynch’s “Mulholland Dr.”, which played at Cannes in 2001.
“It was my career-maker. Anything that I had done was under the radar, so I really was an actor for hire. And then the launching of that film was the launching of me,” Watts, 41, said in an interview along the beach near the Palais, the headquarters of the French Riviera festival.
Watts – who was born in England and moved as a teenager with her family to Australia – had been working in obscurity through much of the 1990s in Hollywood, seeing good friend Nicole Kidman climb to stardom while she remained on the fringes.

Naomi did indeed make another appearance at Cannes last night after the world premiere of Fair Game! She attended amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala, wearing a black and cream dress and the same hairstyle as at the Fair Game premiere. There are some fantastic photos of Naomi catching up with her good friends Russell Crowe and Danielle Spencer (I love these photos!), and she was also pictured with Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, Giorgio Armani, and Elizabeth Banks.
