Sometimes a bun needs a little more time in the oven. We’re totally cool with that, too, as long as it is extra tasty when it’s served up for public consumption. Will some reshoots be able to do the trick for Jim Sheridan’s new flick, Dream House?

We’ll find out when the film is released on February 18th, 2011, but for now Production Weekly reports that two weeks of reshoots for the Morgan Creek/Universal Pictures film have been ordered up in Toronto and are planned to begin on September 27th.

The project, picked up as a spec by David Loucka, follows a family that relocates into what appears to be the ideal residence in small town Connecticut. However, the husband (Daniel Craig) and wife (Naomi Watts) are disturbed to discover that their beautiful new home was the site of another family’s slaughter, believed to be at the hands of the husband, who survived.

Ms Watts is now in Canada where filming on her new thriller movie, Dream House, has started! She has been photographed on the set the past couple of days, and is seen bundled up alongside her director Jim Sheridan. Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have also been seen on set this week, and you can see photos of them together at Amazing Rachel Weisz.

Rachel Fox (“Desperate Housewives”) is set co-star in Jim Sheridan’s “Dream House.” She joins a cast that already includes Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz. Pic follows a writer and his family who have recently moved into a house and soon find out it was the site of a recent murder and that the killer may still be at large.

Dream House, starring Daniel Craig, is currently filming in Gairloch Gardens in Oakville, Ontario.

According to one of our tipsters, they have and built the “house” set in the park and were spraying fake snow on trees that were brought in yesterday.

Dream House is a thriller about a family that learns of a brutal crime committed against the former residents of their new home. The movie also stars Naomi Watts and Rachel Weisz.

Today (Feb 25th), marks the first day of filming at this location.

The Morgan Creek production is being directed by Jim Sheridan and was written by David Loucka. Filming began Sunday in Toronto.
