Welcome to version 4 of Blue Jewel: Naomi Watts! When the Marie Claire photoshoot came out I just knew the pictures would make for a perfect summer layout, and thanks to our awesome friend Samantha we have just that! I’ve also just remembered that Blue Jewel celebrates 3 years online next week, so this is part of our celebration

This new layout will be accompanied by some major content updates and additions next week – I have a lot of content planned for the site, I just need to be able to sit down and get going on it! After *ahem* quite a while with the previous layout, we now have a brand new layout up! Samantha created this design for us, and we think it is so pretty and feminine. We hope you love it too, so don’t hesitate to leave a comment!

Well I was intending on scanning a few magazines/tidbits today, but I didn’t get very far before my scanner messed up. So I’ve just added scans from a French magazine from 2003, promoting The Ring. Nothing too special, but a nice read for our French speaking visitors, and 2 lovely photos.

I’ve also updated our Top Affiliates on the sidebar – once you’ve finished browsing here today then pay a visit to one of our wonderful top affiliates, all of which are some of the best, and my favourite, sites on the web! Those of you that check our Twitter regularly will have read that I’ve been having some computer problems recently and am unable to use my computer – this is why there haven’t been any updates for a few weeks! I am so sorry about this, but there’s really nothing I can do about it. I just have my fingers crossed that it will be fixed soon and I can resume updating. Once I get my computer back I will be working on content and the new pictures, and when/if my further computer problems get fixed I can resume properly working on our Gallery.

Please be patient and stick with Blue Jewel! I promise to continue bringing you all the latest and greatest on Naomi, as soon as everything gets fixed. We already have the largest gallery online for her and more content than you can shake a stick at, so sit tight and enjoy that, and check back soon for new stuff

I’m really sorry everyone.  I was upgrading WP just now & did not notice the site layout was using the WP Default theme.  I mistakenly uploaded over it & did not realize what I had done until the upgrade was complete.  I’ve contacted Jess & hopefully she has a back up of the site layout.

A few of you may have heard of the latest internet craze, Twitter, well now you can follow Blue Jewel: Naomi Watts on there! It’s actually a pretty fun concept and is a great way to keep you updated on things in a bitesize format. So make sure you follow us @naomi_watts_org to keep yourself updated on everything Naomi Watts and Blue Jewel.

I’ve finally gone through my email inbox for this site and replied to emails where needed. If you haven’t received a reply it was either because your email didn’t require a response (ie Interact responses) or I didn’t get your email. Feel free to resend if this is the case.

So whilst doing that I added your Interact responses to that section of the site, updated our affiliates and added a new Picture Of The Moment (chosen by Brent).

Thanks to those of you that sent nice comments about the site! I really appreciate it I will get round to updating again soon, but offline life is still pretty hectic plus things are really quiet for Naomi (and I refuse to post paparazzi photos of Naomi every day because we know Naomi hates the paps, so to continuously post them everyday seems disrespectful to her). I’ll be working on the Appearances section of the Gallery when I have time, plus finishing up the main site content. Stay tuned, fans

I am so sorry for the lack of updates again – I’ve been so busy offline, and the little time I have had for fansites has been spent on others, because Naomi is pretty quiet right now.

I think Naomi has spent some time with her family in Israel recently … they were there for her to shoot scenes for Fair Game I believe. I’ll have a look for news and pics on that asap.

Updates will resume again soon, I just have lots of stuff going on offline right now and that’s slightly more important. As always though, please stick with us!! I still have trillions of pics and stuff to add here for you to enjoy :p
