Nicole Kidman is preparing to give birth for the first time ? and luckily she has Naomi Watts to talk her through it.

“Whenever you’re pregnant, you always call on your pregnant friends and compare notes,” the 39-year-old Watts ? who gave birth to son Alexander Pete last July ? told PEOPLE Monday at a press conference to discuss her new role as the face of Angel, a fragrance by designer Thierry Mugler. “It’s what happens in friendship.”

So will Kidman, 40 ? who’s expecting her first child with husband Keith Urban ? be a good mom?

In 2008, she is starring in Michael Haneke’s latest film, “Funny Games,” and in 2009 she will star in Tom Twyker’s film “The International” with Clive Owen.

Funny Games will be released on DVD in the UK on July 7th. This date may change

Oscar nominated actress Naomi Watts has been signed up as the new face of Thierry Mugler’s signature scent, Angel. The Australian actress, best friend to Nicole Kidman who had a baby (Alexander) with her film star fiance Liev Schreiber last year, will front ad campaigns for the iconic scent from October, but there is no word yet as to who will shoot the new campaign. Naomi previously starred in a campaign for luxury U.S jeweller David Yurman, shot by fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh.

Ayelet Zurer has landed the coveted role of Vittoria Vetra in Sony Pictures’ upcoming Da Vinci Code prequel Angels & Demons. While the studio won’t confirm, sources close to the production tell EW.com that the Israeli actress (who played Eric Bana’s wife in Munich and was last seen in Sony’s Vantage Point) has been cast opposite Tom Hanks in the Ron Howard-directed film. The actress was chosen over more well-known stars, including Naomi Watts, who had been in talks for the role, according to previous reports.

I’m super-busy with assignments and exams at the moment, so updates may be slow for a few weeks. After that though, I will hopefully have more time so will really start to build up the site properly over the summer

Today I want to make a little off topic plug though, for my new fansite for actress Maria Bello. Maria is of course known from David Cronenberg’s A History Of Violence, and many other quirky films. I’d say she’s similar to our Naomi in terms of her fearlessness when it comes to taking risky and challenging roles. So please give the site a visit :p

Funny Games will be released on DVD in the US (Region 1) on June 10th 2008. No word on extras yet.
